Evaluation methodology

At Your Eco Plan, we carefully select projects that deliver measurable and lasting environmental benefits.

Here’s how we ensure your contributions make a tangible difference:

Expert partner selection

We collaborate with organizations and initiatives that transform degraded landscapes into thriving ecosystems and resilient communities.

Focus on Planet Positive outcomes

Our projects achieve outcomes like reforestation, biodiversity enhancement, and ecosystem preservation.

Commitment to global goals

All supported projects align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring contributions address critical environmental and social priorities.

Your Eco Plan vetting process

To guarantee that we support only the most impactful initiatives, Your Eco Plan employs a proprietary 8-step vetting process.

This ensures every project aligns with our principles and delivers meaningful results.

  • We identify promising projects through partnerships with NGOs, environmental organizations, governments, crowdfunding platforms, and local communities. These include reputable entities like WWF, BirdLife Europe, Weforest and Instituto Terra.

  • Projects undergo an initial review to ensure they align with Your Eco Plan’s mission and criteria, including their focus on conservation, geographic location, and community involvement.

  • Each applicant provides detailed insights about their project’s goals, environmental impact, and funding requirements, giving us a clear overview of their initiative.

  • We evaluate projects based on measurable environmental goals, community engagement, and financial transparency to ensure they meet high-impact standards.

  • A thorough review verifies the project’s credibility, feasibility, and past performance, including on-site validations and third-party endorsements.

  • Projects are scored across criteria like environmental impact, scalability, and innovation to ensure a consistent and transparent selection process.

  • Projects offering the highest potential for environmental and community impact are prioritized, creating a diverse portfolio of initiatives.

  • Selected projects are closely monitored through progress reports, site visits, and capacity-building efforts to ensure long-term success.
